The free GBEIB – Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Benchmarks: Standards for Organizations Around the World, is an 80-page Guidebook researched and written by 3 authors – Nene Molefi, Julie O’Mara and Alan Richter, PhD, with extensive input from 112 Expert Panellists around the world. It is designed to be used by any organization, in any industry or sector, and any world region. It can be customized. It is available as a PDF. Anyone can view it; to use it, you must sign a User Agreement. The Guidebook and several User Tools, including a 1-page overview, several learning activities, an Assessment Checklist and other tools are also available for free. We have been supported by many organizations around the world. The entire GDEIB has 275 benchmarks in 4 Groups (Foundation, Bridging, Internal, and External) and 15 categories (such as Leadership, Structure, Social Responsibility, Marketing, Recruitment, and Communications). Each category contains 18 to 22 benchmarks in 5 levels from Inactive to Best Practices. A digital tool and certification will be available soon. First published in 2006, it is updated approximately every 5 years.

PROCESS TO RECEIVE PERMISSION

Step 2: Download this User Agreement and save on your computer.
Step 3: Then—once it is saved on your computer—complete the form. It is designed for computer entry. You do not need to print it out. A typed signature is a legally binding signature.
Step 4: Save the completed form to your computer.
Step 5: Attach your completed form and email it to julie.omara78@icloud.com.
Step 6: The authors will review your request and, if approved, will sign the User Agreement and email it back to you within a few days. Please keep the executed copy on file and be sure those in your organization with a need to know understand the requirements of use.
